From the very inception of its activity the de’Nobili family has enthusiastically devoted itself to creating unique projects in order to enhance the personality of its every customer. The experience gained by its founder Claudio de’Nobili, combined with the tastes of his children Maurizio, Mirella, Simona and Fabrizio, have contributed towards creating jewels which accentuate the magical beauty of precious stones and metals.

1943

THE FONDATION

In 1943 Claudio and Aurelio de’Nobili founded the Neapolitan jewelry in via Filangieri, and just after the war the Americans were amongst the first to appreciate the originality of de’ Nobili workmanship. The post-war economic boom favoured the return to high-class jewelry, and it is in this context that Claudio de'Nobili’s creativity began to be appreciated in the more exclusive spheres of Naples society.

1963

STYLISTIC DEVELOPMENT

It was in those years that high–quality necklaces were materialised through the skilful art of master craftsmen. Now fully matured the goldsmith’ art became progressively enriched with shapes and designs which throughout the years that followed were to become the distinguishing features of the de’Nobili style.

1983

THE LABORATORY

Maurizio founded the goldsmith workshop with total dedication, concentrating on reserach and creativity. Hence a small activity arose in the heart of Naples where the craftsman’s skill and technical innovation combined to bring about the production of unique personalised artefacts.

2003

THE BRAND CHARACTER

Since the 1990s de’Nobili jewelry has gone on to reinforce its own brand originally characterised by alternating between yellow gold and white gold, silver and pink gold, glossy, gleaming and bright elaborations.

Today

The opening of new boutiques, together with Claudio and Andrea - now the third generation - joining the business, paved the way towards developing an Italian and international distribution plan designed to make the iconic collections of the maison, real and true Neapolitan craftsmanship known throughout the world.
